Ashley McWaters’ work has appeared in DIAGRAM, Painted Bride Quarterly, Hunger Mountain, Northwest Review, Spinning Jenny, and Caketrain, among others. Whitework, her first book of poems, was published in 2009 by Fairy Tale Review Press. She is both an instructor at the University of Alabama and director of the undergraduate creative writing program there. She lives in Tuscaloosa with husband Scott, and children Posey and Lucian.
